CGC COL HAMEED IBRAHIM ALI (Rtd) CFR AWARDED BY THE NIGERIAN ARMY

The Comptroller General of Customs, Col Hameed Ibrahim Ali (Rtd) CFR was among the six prominent personalities to receive the award of appreciation from the Nigerian Army at the ongoing Chief of Army Staff Annual Conference taking place at the International Conference Center, Kasarawa, Sokoto State.

The recipient of the award includes the Chairman BUA Group, the Chairman Dangote Group of Companies, the Chairman UBA Bank, and the Chairman Zenith Bank.

The appreciation award which was presented by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR is in recognition of the CGC and the Service’s outstanding support, cooperation, and collaboration to the Nigerian Army Administratively and Operationally through timely clearance of military hardware and equipment, providing timely information and logistics, and provision of relief material at the NE.

The CGC was represented at Conference by DCG HK Gummi, ACG BU Gimba, and COMPT A Ma’aji. In response to the award, DCG Gummi assured the Nigerian Army of the Service’s continuous unflinching support in its mandate of protecting the territorial integrity of Nigeria and its citizen.
