LAGOS NSCDC PARTNERS YOUTHRISE ON HARM REDUCTION, PARTICIPATES AT INTERACTIVE FORUM IN IKORODU.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command joined other law enforcement agencies, implementing partners, community leaders and state actors at an interactive session on harm reduction aimed at curbing the growing incidence of HIV, blood – borne infections and other drug – related harm among people, who Use/Inject Drugs ( PWUD ).
The NSCDC, Lagos State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro was ably represented by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin.
The session was held yesterday,Thursday, 23rd May, 2024, at the YouthRise office, Eyita, Ikorodu, Lagos. The event was facilitated by Eniola ‘Lara Adelokun, Program State Lead for YouthRISE Nigeria, Lagos.
The session had the presence of the Chairman, Community Development Association, NSCDC, Nigeria Police Force, Mr Henry Bassey, Administrator of POCACOV in South West, LASCADA, SACA, SMoH/SASCP, implementing partners and representative of PWUD et ce tera.
